The output of high quality products are impossible without modern equipment, however, for the development of the factory a considerable amount of investment was needed.
In 2006-2007, it was made the technical re-equipment of the plant: overhaul and upgrade facilities. Thanks to these repairs, Kryzhopol Cheese Factory, besides its standard line of rennet based cheese, it was one of the first in Ukraine that began to make elite type cheeses: Radomer, Maazdamer, Gauda and Edam.
In 2010, factory was modernized the micro-biology laboratory . In 2013 a new shop was opened for producing packaged products. The shop is equipped with equipment from leading manufacturers from Germany and Switzerland, which ensures producing products of fixed weight. The productivity of the line is 700 kg of cheese per hour.
From 2011 a certified integrated system of quality management and food safety has been in place at the Kryzhopol Cheese Factor (State Standard of Ukraine ISO 9001:2009 and State Standard of Ukraine ISO 22000:2007).
Production Capacity of the Kryzhopol Factory:
- processing of 400 tonnes of milk per day;
- production of up to 37 tonnes of cheese and cheese products per day.
Company historyThe history of Kryzhopol Cheese Factory started in 1971. From of the Vinnytsia Dairy Industry Association. In 2005 the TERRA FOOD company acquired the factory and made it one of their own powerful asset for cheese production. The main activity of the business is maintaining a high level of quality production and increasing its variety with the aim of supplying an increase in demand and requirements of consumers. The high quality standards for cheeses of the Kryzhopol factory are supported by a number of prizes, amongst them the award of "100 best products in Ukraine", as well as a gold medal at the "Milk and Meat Industry of the XXI century" tasting competition.
